Set Verdaccio's HTTPS Uplink Proxy in config.yaml
Add https_proxy to the uplink that fetches from the HTTPS npm registry, using the actual intermediary URL.
uplinks:
npmjs:
url: https://registry.npmjs.org/
https_proxy: http://proxy.example.net:8080Merge this into the existing uplink configuration. https_proxy is selected because the registry URL is HTTPS; http://proxy.example.net:8080 describes the HTTP proxy listener carrying that connection. When the public npm uplink may use a public HTTP endpoint, select a candidate from the HTTP proxy list for this value.
An uplink-level value takes priority over Verdaccio's documented global http_proxy and https_proxy settings. Use that scope when different upstream registries need different routes, retaining the existing uplink authentication and package-access rules.
This is the server's package-fetching path. If a developer cannot reach Verdaccio at all, inspect the npm client's route to Verdaccio instead. A reverse proxy accepting incoming requests likewise does not set this outbound uplink value.
