Use Conda’s configuration command to inspect its proxy mapping:

conda config --show proxy_servers

The --show operation displays calculated and compiled configuration values. An absent proxy section in conda info --all is not a substitute for querying this key.

To find the contributing configuration locations:

conda config --show-sources

Compare the proxy_servers entries there with the effective mapping. This helps distinguish editing the intended file from editing a file that this Conda invocation does not use. These two commands inspect configuration without changing it.

If a configuration file cannot be parsed, conda config --validate checks the identified sources. Valid YAML and a displayed proxy URL still do not establish that the endpoint is reachable or accepts the intended authentication.
