In .NET Framework-based BizTalk Health Monitor deployments, ChkBHMRep.exe performs the repository update check. A proxy setting on another executable may therefore leave that check unchanged.

For a deployment using the current Windows user’s system proxy and default credentials, merge this section into ChkBHMRep.exe.config beside the checker:

<configuration>
  <system.net>
    <defaultProxy enabled="true" useDefaultCredentials="true">
      <proxy usesystemdefault="true" />
    </defaultProxy>
  </system.net>
</configuration>

Preserve other configuration sections and the single root configuration element. Restart the checker through its normal lifecycle so a new process loads the file.

Default credentials mean the identity running that process. A scheduled account and an interactive administrator can have different proxy access. This setting does not supply an arbitrary stored password or grant that identity permission at the intermediary.

Keep the BHM deployment and runtime generation with the investigation. This is an executable configuration mechanism for .NET Framework, rather than a universal setting for every modern .NET HTTP client or all processes on the host.
