Mount Paketo's CA Binding During the Build That Needs It

Place the organization CA under a ca-certificates binding and mount it in /platform/bindings for pack build.

Prepare the binding directory before the build:

bindings/enterprise-ca/
  type
  enterprise-root.pem

The type file contains ca-certificates. Each certificate file contains one approved PEM CA certificate.

Mount it into the build container:

pack build app-image --builder "$BUILDER_IMAGE" --volume "$PWD/bindings/enterprise-ca:/platform/bindings/enterprise-ca:ro"

BUILDER_IMAGE is the selected compatible builder including the CA Certificates buildpack. Keep required proxy options on this invocation too: certificates supply trust while the proxy URL supplies the route.

Check buildpack contribution messages for discovery and acceptance. A fixed total certificate count is not a useful guarantee across builder versions.

A runtime-only mount is too late for this download. This build mount also does not configure the Docker daemon's earlier builder-image pull or promise runtime provisioning/embedding in the final image.
