HTTPS Proxies in Citrix Workspace for Linux 2308 and Later
Check Workspace's version and HDX transport when using an HTTPS proxy for a Linux remote session.
Citrix documents HTTPS proxy support in Workspace app for Linux from version 2308 onward. The documented path requires HDX over UDP to be disabled.
In ~/.ICAClient/All_Regions.ini for the account running the client, use the supported settings with your proxy endpoint:
[Network\UDT]
HDXoverUDP=Off
[Network\Proxy]
ProxyType=Secure
ProxyHost=proxy.example:8443
Replace the example host and port. A working TCP proxy path does not also establish support for a separately selected UDP transport.
Check the installed version, effective profile, and proxy protocol before changing credentials. Close and relaunch the relevant client session through its normal lifecycle so an existing process does not retain earlier settings.
Check session launch and continued HDX traffic through this route. Loading a portal in a browser exercises another client's networking configuration.
