proxychains-ng can suppress its routine messages for one invocation:

proxychains4 -q curl https://www.example.com/

The wrapper's -q takes precedence over its configured logging choice. For a persistent setting, add or uncomment quiet_mode in the configuration that the invocation actually loads.

Place the wrapper option before the program name. Arguments after curl belong to curl.

Routine startup diagnostics go to standard error. A pipe that removes the first standard-output line can therefore leave the diagnostics visible while deleting the beginning of the downloaded content.

Redirecting all standard error also hides errors from the wrapped program. The wrapper's own quiet setting provides a narrower choice.

Quiet mode changes logging, not proxy selection or failure status. Restore ordinary diagnostics when investigating a connection problem.
