Launch Helm's HTTP Repository Update with Its Proxy Environment

HTTPS_PROXY='http://proxy.example:8080' helm repo update

The HTTP getter uses Go environment-aware proxy selection. This invocation supplies an HTTP intermediary for HTTPS repositories. For public chart sources allowed through a public proxy, choose its URL from the HTTP proxy list; add the HTTP destination variable and intended NO_PROXY values when required.

Go supports both variable cases. Compare competing definitions and the actual launch environment rather than treating this as uppercase-only Helm behavior.

The repository URL stays the chart source. Rendered Pod environment cannot configure this earlier Helm request. OCI registries, plugins and Kubernetes API operations have other consumers to inspect when they fail.
