Disable the Proxy in BusyBox wget with -Y off
Use BusyBox's own proxy-disable switch when a minimal container's wget rejects GNU Wget options.
In a BusyBox build that includes the wget applet, disable its proxy use for one invocation with:
busybox wget -Y off -O result.txt http://internal.example/file.txt
The -Y argument is on or off. With long-option support compiled in, the corresponding spelling is --proxy off.
GNU Wget has a different interface: its per-invocation switch is --no-proxy. A command copied from a full distribution can therefore fail in a small image exposing BusyBox under the wget name.
Check that installed command's help output. The explicit busybox invocation above selects the applet, while an unqualified wget may resolve to another binary.
This affects the chosen download. It does not remove the proxy environment from other programs, and direct access still needs a working route to the destination.
